AML Policy & Procedure

An Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Counter-Proliferation Financing (CPF) Policy establishes a framework to prevent, detect, and report activities related to money laundering, terrorist financing, and the proliferation of weapons of mass destruction (WMDs).
In the UAE, compliance is governed by regulations issued by the Central Bank of the UAE and reporting obligations through the goAML platform managed by the Financial Intelligence Unit. This policy aims to:
- Ensure compliance with UAE AML/CFT and PF regulations
- Detect and prevent illicit financial activities
- Identify and mitigate risks related to proliferation financing
- Facilitate reporting through goAML
- Protect the organization from legal and reputational risks
