Corporate Tax Deregistration

Corporate Tax Deregistration is the process by which a business officially cancels its registration with the Federal Tax Authority when it is no longer required to file or pay corporate tax.

This ensures that the business is removed from the FTA tax registry and avoids unnecessary compliance obligations. A business may apply for corporate tax deregistration if it has ceased its operations in the UAE, is no longer generating taxable income, or has fully wound up its activities and is in the process of closing the legal entity. This ensures that the business is formally removed from the corporate tax registry and is no longer subject to filing or compliance obligations.
